Fuelled by a Liquid Confidence

I wrote this after my first day of University, in Poole (after a night out, I was tired, and just realising I wasn't at home, the song reflects the night tbh)

A modest upsettation was we had last night
We held our own on the dancefloor, they got into a fight
Drinks bought by strangers, is this romance in the air?
The cloud on the Horizon is blurring everywhere I stare

Is this just one of them?
Another night, morning light, wasting my life
Why are we here again?
I hear sound, ringing bell, playing loud.

An honest alteration, the shifting of your skirt
Trying to create some envy, or just a regular flirt?
A dreamboat of forgiveness as you plead another chance
Truth of the matter, if asked you’ll take the dance.

Is this just one of them?
Another night, morning light, wasting my life
Why are we here again?
I heard sound, ringing bell, playing loud.
Can you call me your friend?
....................
Can you clear this up my friend?
Where am I, who’s the guy, between my thighs

Alternative communication – fuelled by a Liquid confidence
Alternative migration – marked by a Liquid experience
Alternative annihilation – currently heads delirious
Alternative misconception – running circles in a trailer mess
